Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Jesús R. Zazueta, a licensed California real estate salesperson (CA DRE #02043643) affiliated with Alliance Bay Realty ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit zazuetarealestate.com (the "Site"), use any calculator or form on the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. We collect information you choose to give us — for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a contact or scheduling form, request information, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

Information you enter into our calculators. If you use a calculator or estimator on the Site, you may enter figures such as a property's purchase price, sale price, depreciation, and loan balances.  These figures are used to generate an on-screen estimate. Except where you submit them together with a contact, newsletter, or scheduling request, we do not retain the figures you enter. We recommend that you not enter any more information than necessary to obtain a general estimate.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and dates and times of access. We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and requests; schedule and conduct appointments; send you our newsletter and other communications you have requested; provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services; understand how visitors use the Site; and comply with our legal obligations. We send marketing and newsletter emails only where permitted, and you may opt out at any time as described below.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and marketing purposes. We use third-party services such as HubSpot [and Google Analytics] to help us manage forms, communications, and website analytics. You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some parts of the Site may not function properly without them.

5. "Do Not Track" Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting. Because there is not yet a common industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Third parties, such as analytics and advertising providers, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as email, customer-relationship management, form hosting, scheduling, and analytics providers (for example, HubSpot) — subject to their obligations to protect your information;
  • Professionals to whom you ask to be referred, and only at your request;
  • Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person; and
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our business or assets.

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8. Email Communications

If you receive marketing or newsletter emails from us, each email includes a way to unsubscribe. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email or by contacting us using the information below. We will honor opt-out requests promptly. We may still send you non-marketing messages related to a transaction or inquiry you have initiated.

9. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices; Reviewing or Updating Your Information

You may review, update, correct, or request deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by contacting us using the information below. You may also opt out of our marketing communications at any time. We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law.

11. California Privacy Rights

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may request confirmation of this by contacting us using the information below.

CCPA/CPRA. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to us, California residents may have the right to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of their personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise any applicable right, please contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any change indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
